Remote Installation & Maintenance Specialist

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and technically adept Remote Installation & Maintenance Specialist to join their expanding team. Based entirely remotely, you will provide expert support to clients across the UK, guiding them through installation processes, troubleshooting technical issues, and performing remote diagnostics. This role requires exceptional communication skills and a deep understanding of the company's product suite, enabling you to offer virtual assistance that is as effective as on-site support. You will be instrumental in ensuring customer success and maintaining high service levels, all from the comfort of your home office, supporting clients across Wales and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical assistance to clients for the installation and setup of systems.
• Conduct remote diagnostics to identify and resolve hardware and software issues promptly.
• Guide customers through troubleshooting steps and maintenance procedures via phone, video calls, and remote desktop tools.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including remote support guides and FAQs.
• Collaborate with internal support teams to escalate complex issues and share knowledge.
• Monitor client system performance remotely and advise on preventative measures.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a technical support, installation, or maintenance role, ideally with remote capabilities.
• Strong understanding of network configuration, hardware installation, and software troubleshooting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
• Proficiency with remote access and support tools (e.g., TeamViewer, AnyDesk, RDP).
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work setting.
• A dedicated home office setup with a stable internet connection is required.
