Remote Lead UX Researcher

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and insightful Lead UX Researcher to join their fully remote team. You will lead user research initiatives, uncover deep user needs, and translate insights into actionable recommendations that inform product strategy and design. This role is crucial in ensuring our client builds user-centered products that solve real problems and delight customers. You will mentor other researchers, define research methodologies, and collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to champion the user perspective throughout the product development process, working from any location.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and analysis of qualitative and quantitative user research studies, including user interviews, surveys, usability tests, and ethnographic research.
• Translate research findings into clear, compelling insights and actionable recommendations for product and design teams.
• Define and champion user research best practices, methodologies, and tools across the organization.
• Mentor and guide junior UX researchers, fostering their growth and development.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to integrate user insights into product roadmaps and design decisions.
• Present research findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in UX research, with a strong portfolio showcasing impactful research projects.
• Proven expertise in a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research methods and tools.
• Experience leading research initiatives and mentoring other researchers.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
• Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and the product development lifecycle.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a distributed, remote team environment.
