About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organised and proactive Remote Logistics Coordinator to join their dynamic team, supporting operations that may span across various locations but primarily coordinating from a remote setting. This role is critical for managing the flow of goods, optimising supply chains, and ensuring seamless coordination between suppliers, warehouses, and delivery partners. You will leverage technology to track shipments, resolve logistical challenges, and maintain effective communication channels, contributing to an efficient and responsive logistics operation that values flexibility and strategic planning from anywhere.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage inbound and outbound logistics operations, including shipping and receiving.
• Utilise logistics software and digital tools to track shipments and monitor inventory levels.
• Liaise with transportation providers, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any issues.
• Develop and implement efficient logistics plans and strategies to minimise costs and maximise efficiency.
• Prepare reports on logistics performance, including delivery times, costs, and inventory accuracy.
• Troubleshoot and resolve logistical problems as they arise, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or in a similar role within supply chain management.
• Proficiency in using logistics software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively in a remote environment.
• Understanding of shipping regulations and best practices.
