Remote Logistics Coordinator

About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and highly organised Remote Logistics Coordinator to join their forward-thinking team, supporting operations in Cambridge . You will be responsible for liaising with carriers, managing documentation, and ensuring the smooth execution of logistics plans. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and track shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery across various modes of transport.
• Manage and prepare all necessary shipping documentation, including bills of lading and customs declarations.
• Communicate proactively with suppliers, customers, and transportation partners to resolve logistical queries and issues.
• Maintain accurate records of all logistical activities and update the transport management system (TMS) regularly.
• Monitor carrier performance and identify areas for improvement in service and cost.
• Provide support for customs clearance and ensure compliance with international shipping regulations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a logistics, supply chain, or freight forwarding role.
• Strong proficiency with logistics software, including TMS and ERP systems.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage a remote workload.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable working virtually.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite , particularly Excel for data tracking.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.
