About the Role
Our client is looking for a data-driven and analytical Remote Manufacturing Operations Analyst to join their forward-thinking Manufacturing & Production team. Operating fully remotely, you will play a key role in analyzing operational data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall productivity across our manufacturing sites. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated analyst to leverage their skills in a remote capacity, contributing directly to strategic decision-making and operational excellence in a dynamic industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and interpret manufacturing data from various sources to identify performance trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for production, efficiency, and quality.
- Support the identification and implementation of cost-saving initiatives and process optimization strategies.
- Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and recommend solutions.
- Collaborate virtually with plant managers, engineers, and operations teams to provide data-driven recommendations.
- Assist in forecasting operational needs and resource planning based on historical data and future projections.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Operations Analyst or in a similar analytical role within the Manufacturing & Production sector.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote team environment.
- Experience with ERP or MRP systems is highly desirable.
