Our client is looking for an experienced and proactive Remote Manufacturing Operations Manager to spearhead their production strategies. This role is crucial for driving operational efficiency and innovation across all manufacturing sites, despite the distributed nature of the team. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive manufacturing strategies to optimize output, reduce costs, and enhance product quality across multiple sites.
- Oversee production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation, ensuring timely delivery of manufactured goods.
- Lead and manage remote manufacturing teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth through virtual engagement.
- Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational efficiency and identify areas for continuous improvement.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) across all operations.
- Manage budgets, control operational expenditures, and report on financial performance related to manufacturing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Significant experience (7+ years) in manufacturing operations management, with a proven track record of leading teams.
- Demonstrated experience in successfully managing teams and operations in a remote or hybrid work environment .
- Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management, production planning, and quality control principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a strong ability to influence stakeholders remotely.
