Remote Manufacturing Process Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement new process designs and technologies to enhance productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Create detailed process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with on-site production teams, R&D, and quality assurance departments to implement and validate process changes.
• Utilize data analysis tools and simulation software to model and optimize manufacturing workflows.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in manufacturing engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in manufacturing process engineering, with a focus on optimization and automation.
• Proficiency in process simulation software and data analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma principles, and statistical process control (SPC).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively in a remote capacity, with strong communication and collaboration skills across distributed teams.
