Remote Manufacturing Process Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and innovative Remote Manufacturing Process Engineer to join their dynamic team, supporting operations across various sites from a remote location. This role focuses on optimizing existing manufacturing processes, developing new production techniques, and implementing advanced technologies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality. You will work collaboratively with on-site teams, leveraging data and expertise to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes and technologies, utilizing simulation and modeling tools.
• Develop and maintain detailed process documentation, including SOPs and work instructions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless process integration.
• Troubleshoot production issues remotely, providing timely and effective solutions to on-site personnel.
• Stay abreast of new manufacturing technologies and industry best practices, recommending their adoption where appropriate.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing process engineering , with a strong emphasis on process optimization.
• Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Arena, AnyLogic) and CAD tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with remote teams.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies is highly desirable.
