Remote Manufacturing Process Engineer

About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Remote Manufacturing Process Engineer to join their innovative team. This position is fully remote, allowing you to contribute to optimizing manufacturing processes from anywhere. You will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and improving production methods and systems to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. This role requires a proactive individual who can collaborate effectively with on-site teams and stakeholders virtually, driving innovation and operational excellence across our manufacturing footprint.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost.
• Design and implement new production methods, technologies, and equipment.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and R&D, to troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues.
• Utilize data analysis tools and statistical methods to monitor process performance and identify trends.
• Conduct remote process audits and provide recommendations for optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Manufacturing Process Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and process optimization techniques.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Proficiency in CAD software and simulation tools is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote setting.
