Remote Manufacturing Process Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for optimization and automation.
• Develop, document, and implement improved manufacturing procedures and work instructions.
• Utilize data analysis tools to monitor process performance, identify root causes of issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate virtually with production, quality, and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of process improvements.
• Research and recommend new technologies and methodologies to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) by providing process engineering expertise and ensuring manufacturability in a distributed setting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in manufacturing process engineering.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in data analysis and statistical process control (SPC).
• Excellent remote communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with process simulation software is advantageous.
