Remote Manufacturing Process Engineer

About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly skilled Remote Manufacturing Process Engineer to join their innovative team, supporting operations across multiple sites including Milton Keynes . This role will focus on analyzing, designing, and optimizing manufacturing processes from a distance, leveraging technology to drive efficiency and improve product quality. You will collaborate closely with on-site teams, supply chain partners, and R&D to implement best practices and troubleshoot complex production challenges. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze existing manufacturing processes, identify areas for improvement, and propose data-driven solutions for enhanced efficiency and cost reduction.
• Design and document new manufacturing processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures, often using digital tools for simulation and visualization.
• Develop and implement process validation protocols and ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Provide remote technical support and troubleshooting to production teams, diagnosing issues and guiding corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and operations, to ensure seamless integration of process improvements.
• Research and evaluate new manufacturing technologies and methodologies that can be implemented remotely or drive efficiency gains.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing process design, analysis, and optimization.
• Proficiency in process simulation software, CAD tools, and data analysis techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively and autonomously in a remote environment.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies is a strong advantage.
