About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly knowledgeable and independent Remote Manufacturing Process Specialist to join their global Manufacturing & Production team. This position operates entirely remotely and focuses on analyzing, documenting, and optimizing manufacturing processes across different sites. You will be responsible for developing best practices, identifying areas for improvement, and providing technical expertise to support operational efficiency and product quality. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and document current manufacturing processes, identifying inefficiencies and areas for enhancement.
• Develop and implement standardized operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for production activities.
• Provide remote technical support and guidance to manufacturing sites on process-related issues.
• Research and recommend new technologies or methodologies to improve production efficiency and product quality.
• Collaborate virtually with site engineers and operations teams to troubleshoot complex process challenges.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and projects focused on lean manufacturing and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing) or a related technical field.
• Significant experience as a Process Engineer or Manufacturing Specialist , with a focus on process optimization.
• Deep understanding of lean manufacturing principles , Six Sigma methodologies, and process improvement tools.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage projects effectively in a remote setting.
• Excellent technical writing and communication skills for documentation and virtual collaboration.
• Proficiency with process mapping software and data analysis tools.
