Remote Manufacturing Systems Analyst

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and tech-savvy Remote Manufacturing Systems Analyst to join their distributed operations team, supporting facilities across the UK, including their site in Bristol . This role focuses on optimizing the performance of our manufacturing execution systems (MES) and related software applications from a remote setting. You will be responsible for data analysis, system configuration, user support, and driving improvements in our digital manufacturing landscape. This is an ideal position for an experienced analyst who thrives in a remote work environment and has a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and IT systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze data from manufacturing systems to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
• Provide remote technical support and troubleshooting for MES and other manufacturing software users.
• Assist in the configuration, testing, and deployment of new system features and updates.
• Develop reports and dashboards to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency and system utilization.
• Collaborate with IT and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of manufacturing systems.
• Document system processes, user guides, and best practices for remote operational support.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in systems analysis, preferably with a focus on Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or similar industrial software.
• Strong data analysis skills and proficiency with SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Experience in troubleshooting and supporting complex software applications.
• Excellent remote communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working independently.
• Understanding of general manufacturing processes and workflows.
