Remote Manufacturing Systems Analyst

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and technologically adept Remote Manufacturing Systems Analyst to join their dispersed team. This role will focus on optimizing and supporting the company's manufacturing execution systems (MES) and related software solutions from a remote capacity. You will play a crucial part in enhancing production efficiency, data integrity, and system performance by analyzing system usage, identifying areas for improvement, and collaborating with internal stakeholders and external vendors. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing data and system performance to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for enhancement.
• Support the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of MES and other manufacturing software systems.
• Develop and generate reports on key manufacturing metrics, system uptime, and user activity.
• Provide remote technical support and troubleshooting for manufacturing system users.
• Collaborate with IT and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of manufacturing systems with enterprise software.
• Stay abreast of new technologies and best practices in manufacturing IT and systems analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Systems Analyst, IT Support Specialist, or similar role within a manufacturing context.
• Strong understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
• Proficiency in data analysis, reporting tools, and SQL.
• Excellent remote communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively in a remote environment.
