About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced and strategic Medical Affairs Manager specializing in Oncology to join their team in a fully remote capacity. This pivotal role will focus on developing and executing medical strategies, engaging with key opinion leaders (KOLs), and providing scientific expertise to support their oncology portfolio. You will be instrumental in translating complex scientific data into impactful medical communication and ensuring the appropriate use of their therapeutic agents. This is an outstanding opportunity for a medical affairs professional to make a significant contribution to patient care and oncology research from a flexible, home-based setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the medical affairs strategy for assigned oncology products.
- Engage with KOLs, investigators, and other healthcare professionals to build strong relationships and gather insights.
- Provide scientific and medical input for clinical trial design, data interpretation, and publication planning.
- Develop high-quality medical materials, including presentations, publications, and training documents.
- Respond to unsolicited medical information requests from healthcare professionals.
- Ensure all medical affairs activities are conducted in compliance with relevant regulations and company policies, supporting our initiatives in areas like Oxford research.
Requirements
- Advanced degree (MD, PharmD, PhD) in a relevant life science or medical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical affairs or a closely related role within the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on oncology.
- Deep understanding of oncology therapeutic areas, clinical development, and regulatory pathways.
- Proven ability to engage effectively with KOLs and present complex scientific information clearly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation and publication experience.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects in a remote work environment.
