About the Role

Our client is revolutionizing remote work and seeks a proactive Remote Network Infrastructure Technician to support their distributed operations, based out of Leeds . This role is pivotal in ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our client's network infrastructure, enabling seamless connectivity for all employees globally. You will remotely manage, monitor, and maintain a wide array of network devices and services, working independently to resolve technical challenges. Key Responsibilities

• Remotely monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to ensure optimal uptime.
• Configure, install, and manage network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Perform regular security audits and implement patches to protect against cyber threats.
• Provide remote technical support for network-related issues to end-users and IT teams.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation and topology diagrams.
• Participate in network infrastructure planning and future technology implementation.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Network Technician or similar role with a strong remote work track record.
• In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and network security protocols.
• Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG).
• Familiarity with cloud networking concepts (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on remote diagnosis.
• Strong communication skills, comfortable working independently and collaborating via digital channels.
