Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and manage optical network equipment, including DWDM, OTN, and coherent transport systems.
• Monitor the optical network health and performance, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues.
• Conduct remote troubleshooting and fault analysis for optical network incidents.
• Plan and execute network upgrades and expansions, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation for optical network designs, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with field technicians and other engineering teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with optical networking technologies .
• Strong knowledge of DWDM, ROADM, OTN, and fiber optic principles.
• Experience with optical network management systems (NMS) and performance monitoring tools.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work setting.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to fault resolution.
