About the Role
Our client is actively seeking an experienced Remote Pharmaceutical Process Engineer to join their innovative pharmaceutical development team. This role is critical for designing, optimizing, and troubleshooting the manufacturing processes for novel drug products, all while working in a fully remote capacity. You will collaborate closely with R&D, quality assurance, and manufacturing teams to ensure processes are robust, scalable, and compliant with stringent GMP regulations. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize pharmaceutical manufacturing processes (e.g., formulation, sterile filling, lyophilization).
- Conduct process validation studies and ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, and EMA guidelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve process deviations and technical challenges during development and scale-up.
- Prepare comprehensive process documentation, including batch records, validation protocols, and reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define process requirements and ensure successful technology transfer.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve process efficiency, product quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in pharmaceutical process engineering , with a strong understanding of GMP environments.
- Proven experience in process development, scale-up, and validation of drug products.
- Familiarity with various pharmaceutical unit operations and equipment.
- Excellent understanding of regulatory requirements (GMP, FDA, EMA) in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote , collaborative team environment.
