Remote Process Development Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize chemical processes for new and existing products, ensuring scalability and cost-effectiveness.
• Utilize process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus) to model, analyze, and improve process performance.
• Design and execute laboratory and pilot-scale experiments to validate process designs and gather critical data.
• Prepare detailed process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and equipment specifications.
• Collaborate closely with R&D, manufacturing, and engineering teams, providing technical expertise remotely.
• Troubleshoot process issues and recommend solutions to improve yield, quality, and safety.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering .
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in process development, scale-up, and troubleshooting in the chemical industry.
• Proficiency in process simulation software and strong data analysis skills.
• Experience with experimental design and data interpretation from laboratory and pilot plant studies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience working effectively in a remote or distributed team environment.
• Familiarity with process safety principles and regulatory requirements.
