Remote Procurement Analyst

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and motivated Procurement Analyst to join their fully remote team, supporting operations across Southampton and globally. This role is critical for providing data-driven insights to optimize procurement strategies, enhance cost savings, and improve supply chain efficiency. You will be instrumental in analyzing spend data, identifying trends, and supporting the development of robust procurement processes. This is a fully remote position, offering maximum flexibility and the opportunity to work from anywhere.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities, trends, and areas for process improvement.
• Develop and maintain spend dashboards and performance reports for procurement leadership.
• Support the sourcing and negotiation teams with data analysis and market intelligence.
• Assist in the management of supplier performance metrics and compliance monitoring.
• Conduct research on market conditions, supplier capabilities, and best practices in procurement .
• Contribute to the development and implementation of new procurement tools and systems.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Procurement Analyst or in a similar analytical role within supply chain or finance.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).
• Experience with procurement systems (e.g., SAP Ariba, Oracle) is a plus.
• Excellent report-writing and presentation skills, able to communicate complex data clearly.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage projects effectively in a remote environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a related field.
