Remote Procurement Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end procurement process for assigned categories, including requisitioning, PO generation, and order follow-up.
• Source and vet new suppliers, conduct RFQs, and negotiate pricing for materials and services.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and update supplier databases with relevant information.
• Liaise effectively with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure timely fulfillment.
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to delivery, quality, or cost.
• Ensure compliance with all company procurement policies and ethical sourcing guidelines.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Procurement Specialist or similar role, with a strong understanding of purchasing principles.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple procurement tasks effectively in a remote setting.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with experience in online collaboration tools.
• Proficiency in procurement software and standard office applications (e.g., MS Office Suite).
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.
