About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Remote Project Manager specializing in IT Infrastructure to join their fully remote team, supporting operations historically based in Portsmouth . This role requires a proactive individual adept at managing complex infrastructure projects, including network deployments, system migrations, and cloud integrations, all within a virtual environment. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless execution, robust communication, and successful delivery of critical IT infrastructure upgrades and projects, contributing significantly to the organization's technological foundation.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of IT infrastructure projects, including hardware, software, network, and cloud initiatives.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements, adapting them for a fully remote execution model.
• Manage and motivate remote project teams, facilitating effective communication and collaboration through digital platforms.
• Identify, assess, and proactively manage risks and issues associated with IT infrastructure projects in a distributed setting.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to ensure project alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
• Ensure all deployed infrastructure solutions meet performance, security, and compliance standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager with a specialization in IT Infrastructure projects.
• Solid understanding of network technologies, server administration, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and cybersecurity principles.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects remotely, utilizing collaboration and project management tools effectively.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, crucial for a virtual role.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; PMP or ITIL certification is desirable.
