Remote Senior Project Manager - IT Infrastructure

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Remote Senior Project Manager to lead critical IT infrastructure projects. This role offers the flexibility to work from anywhere, with a focus on managing projects that enhance and maintain the company's technological backbone. You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of infrastructure projects, including network upgrades, cloud migrations, and system implementations. The successful candidate will possess strong technical acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage dispersed teams effectively, driving key initiatives for the organisation without a fixed office location.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete lifecycle of IT infrastructure projects, from initiation and planning through to deployment and closure.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, budget management, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Oversee the implementation of hardware, software, network, and cloud-based infrastructure solutions.
• Coordinate with internal IT teams, vendors, and external partners to ensure seamless project execution.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
• Provide clear and concise project status updates and reports to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager , specifically managing complex IT infrastructure projects.
• Strong technical understanding of network technologies, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and server environments.
• Demonstrated ability to manage remote teams and work effectively in a distributed environment.
• Excellent organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
• A relevant IT or Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, ITIL) is a strong advantage.
