About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Remote Property Portfolio Manager to oversee a significant portfolio of residential properties from a remote location, based out of Portsmouth . This strategic role demands exceptional organisational, financial, and client management abilities. You will be responsible for maximising portfolio performance, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and maintaining asset value through effective management and proactive problem-solving. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to manage dispersed teams and a deep understanding of property management best practices in a remote working context.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day management of a large portfolio of residential properties across the UK.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance property performance, including rent reviews and void reduction.
- Manage relationships with landlords, tenants, and third-party service providers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant property legislation, health and safety regulations, and contractual obligations.
- Monitor financial performance, including budgets, rent collection, arrears management, and expenditure.
- Lead, mentor, and support a remote team of property managers and support staff.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in property management, with a significant portion in portfolio management.
- Proven experience managing remote teams and dispersed assets.
- Strong understanding of UK residential property law and best management practices.
- Excellent financial acumen, including budgeting and reporting.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with property management software and digital collaboration tools.
