About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced and dynamic Remote Purchasing Manager to lead their procurement operations. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to manage procurement strategy and execution from your home office anywhere in the UK. You will be responsible for overseeing all purchasing activities, developing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with strong negotiation skills and the ability to drive continuous improvement within the purchasing function, making a significant impact on the company's bottom line.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies and policies aligned with business objectives.

Requirements

• Expertise in contract negotiation, supplier relationship management, and risk assessment.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop data-driven procurement strategies.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, essential for a remote role.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; CIPS desirable.
