Remote Quality Assurance Specialist

About the Role

Our client is looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Remote Quality Assurance Specialist to join their expanding team, supporting operations across the UK with a focus on their Welsh base in Cardiff . In this fully remote role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and consistency of our manufactured goods through rigorous testing and analysis. You will work independently, yet collaboratively with remote and on-site teams, to uphold the highest product standards. This position is ideal for a self-starter who excels in a remote work environment and possesses a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive quality assurance test plans and test cases for manufactured products.
• Conduct inspections and analyses of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods.
• Identify, document, and track product defects and non-conformities.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate quality control records and generate reports on product quality trends.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to product quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Control role within manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems, such as ISO 9001.
• Proficiency in using quality testing equipment and software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively in a remote setting .
