Remote Quality Control Technician

About the Role

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Remote Quality Control Technician to join their dedicated team, based remotely with a focus on operations in Birmingham . In this vital role, you will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and evaluating manufactured products to ensure they meet stringent quality standards, all from the comfort of your home office. You will work closely with production teams and engineers to identify and resolve quality issues, contributing directly to the company's reputation for excellence. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct rigorous inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products.
• Document all quality control findings, including deviations and non-conformances, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Analyze test results and provide clear, concise reports to production and management teams.
• Collaborate with engineers to develop and implement corrective actions for quality issues.
• Maintain accurate records of quality control activities and product testing data using digital systems.
• Stay updated on industry standards and best practices for quality assurance in manufacturing.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Quality Control Technician or in a similar quality assurance role.
• Strong understanding of quality control methodologies and statistical process control (SPC).
• Proficiency in using measuring instruments and testing equipment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
• Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) is a plus.
