About the Role

You will collaborate with traders, portfolio managers, and software engineers to translate complex financial concepts into practical, data-driven solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test quantitative models for trading algorithms, risk management, and portfolio optimisation.
• Implement models using programming languages such as Python, C++, or R, ensuring efficient and robust execution.
• Analyse large datasets to identify market patterns, correlations, and predictive signals.
• Collaborate with front-office and back-office teams to integrate models into production systems and trading platforms.
• Perform backtesting and statistical analysis to validate model performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Monitor and report on model performance, market risk, and financial exposures.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or Financial Engineering.
• Proven experience as a Quantitative Analyst in investment banking, hedge funds, or asset management.
• Expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning techniques, and time series analysis.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or R, with experience in data analysis libraries.
• Deep understanding of financial markets, derivatives, and risk management principles.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently in a remote setting.
