Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test quantitative models for trading algorithms, risk management, and portfolio optimisation.
- Implement models using programming languages such as Python, C++, or R, ensuring efficient and robust execution.
- Analyse large datasets to identify market patterns, correlations, and predictive signals.
- Collaborate with front-office and back-office teams to integrate models into production systems and trading platforms.
- Perform backtesting and statistical analysis to validate model performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor and report on model performance, market risk, and financial exposures.
Requirements
- Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or Financial Engineering.
- Proven experience as a Quantitative Analyst in investment banking, hedge funds, or asset management.
- Expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning techniques, and time series analysis.
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or R, with experience in data analysis libraries.
- Deep understanding of financial markets, derivatives, and risk management principles.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently in a remote setting.
