About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Remote Senior BIM Architect to join their globally distributed team. This role is critical for driving the adoption and excellence of Building Information Modelling (BIM) across all projects. You will be responsible for developing and implementing BIM strategies, standards, and workflows, ensuring seamless collaboration and data management for projects worldwide, with a focus on delivering high-quality architectural solutions remotely. This is a unique opportunity for a self-directed and technologically adept architect to shape the future of design delivery from anywhere in the UK .
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage company-wide BIM strategies , standards, and protocols.
- Lead and mentor project teams in the effective use of BIM tools and processes for architectural design and coordination.
- Oversee the creation and management of complex 3D models and associated data throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with external consultants and clients to ensure seamless BIM integration and data exchange.
- Champion best practices in digital design, data management, and collaborative workflows for remote teams.
Requirements
- Professional architectural qualification (e.g., ARB, RIBA) with a strong emphasis on digital practice.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in architecture, with at least 5 years focused on BIM implementation and management.
- Expert proficiency in Revit , Navisworks, and other key BIM software suites.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor teams in a remote work environment.
- Excellent understanding of data management, interoperability, and digital construction workflows.
