Key Responsibilities

• Lead the research and development of new chemical compounds, materials, and processes, from concept through to feasibility studies.
• Design and execute complex laboratory experiments, interpreting results to guide further development efforts.
• Utilize advanced computational modeling and simulation tools to predict and optimize chemical reactions and physical processes.
• Author detailed technical reports, research papers, and patent applications documenting novel findings.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management and manufacturing, via virtual channels to ensure successful technology transfer.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in chemical engineering and related scientific fields, identifying new opportunities for innovation.

Requirements

• Ph.D. or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in R&D, with a proven track record of innovation in chemical product or process development.
• Expertise in areas such as catalysis, materials science, or organic synthesis is highly desirable.
• Proficiency with simulation software and statistical analysis tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts effectively in a virtual setting.
