Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, and equipment.
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to determine project scope and requirements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes.
• Collaborate with project teams to refine estimates and provide support during the bidding process.
• Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and risks, providing recommendations to management.
• Utilize construction estimating software and tools to produce comprehensive reports.

Requirements

• Significant experience as a Construction Estimator , with a proven track record of successful bids.
• Proficiency in construction estimating software (e.g., CostX, Conquest, PlanSwift).
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and UK construction market costs.
• Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
