Remote Senior Construction Planner

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Construction Planner to join their dynamic team on a fully remote basis. You will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive construction schedules for a portfolio of exciting projects across the UK. This role demands exceptional foresight, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with distributed project teams, site personnel, and stakeholders via digital platforms. You will leverage advanced planning software and your extensive industry knowledge to ensure project timelines are realistic, achievable, and meticulously tracked from inception to completion, working from your own location.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update detailed construction project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar software.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to define project scope, milestones, and dependencies.
• Identify potential risks and opportunities within the schedule and propose mitigation strategies.
• Monitor project progress against the baseline schedule and report on deviations.
• Provide expert planning advice and support to project teams, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
• Conduct schedule impact analyses for changes and variations to the project scope.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Construction Planner or Senior Planner, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and other project planning software.
• In-depth understanding of construction methodologies and sequencing across various sectors.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex project data.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, adept at remote collaboration.
