You will be responsible for setting exploration strategies, managing budgets, and leading a dispersed team of geoscientists. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute long-term global exploration strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Oversee the identification, evaluation, and prioritization of new exploration opportunities worldwide.
• Manage exploration budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost control.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing, geographically dispersed exploration team.
• Ensure all exploration activities comply with industry best practices, environmental regulations, and safety standards.
• Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including joint venture partners, governments, and communities.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in Geology, Economic Geology, or a related field.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in mineral exploration, with a significant portion in management and leadership roles.
• Demonstrated success in discovering economic mineral deposits across various commodities and jurisdictions.
• Expertise in geological modelling, geochemical and geophysical exploration techniques, and data analysis.
• Exceptional strategic thinking, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate remote teams effectively.
