About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and innovative Senior Industrial Engineer to join their operations team in a fully remote capacity, supporting their UK-wide operations from Birmingham, West Midlands . You will leverage advanced analytical techniques and digital tools to design, develop, and refine processes, ensuring optimal resource utilization and cost-effectiveness. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive analyses of existing operational processes and systems to identify bottlenecks and areas for enhancement using remote tools and data.
• Design, develop, and implement optimized workflows, material handling systems, and production layouts that can be communicated and implemented across various locations.
• Utilize advanced data analytics, simulation, and modeling software to forecast performance, test solutions, and drive data-informed decision-making.
• Collaborate effectively with on-site teams and management through virtual communication channels to gather insights and ensure successful implementation of recommendations.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures, and training materials for remote dissemination and implementation.
• Monitor the performance of implemented changes remotely and provide ongoing support and adjustments as needed to achieve continuous improvement objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Operations Management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in industrial engineering, process improvement, or operations analysis, with a strong remote work capability.
• Proficiency in process mapping, lean manufacturing, Six Sigma principles, and simulation software.
• Exceptional ability to analyze complex data sets and present findings clearly and concisely through virtual presentations.
• Proven experience in managing projects and implementing solutions with minimal direct supervision.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, particularly in a remote setting.
