Remote Senior Project Manager - SaaS Platforms

About the Role

Our client, a leading innovator in the SaaS space, is seeking a highly skilled Remote Senior Project Manager to join their distributed team. This position is pivotal in managing the lifecycle of key software development projects, from initial requirements gathering and planning through to deployment and post-launch support. Operating in a fully remote capacity, you will collaborate with globally distributed engineering, product, and design teams to deliver cutting-edge software solutions that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of complex SaaS platform projects , ensuring on-time and within-budget completion.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource requirements, utilising agile methodologies.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among remote team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
• Identify and proactively manage project risks, dependencies, and issues, implementing timely solutions.
• Drive sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives for development teams.
• Ensure high-quality product releases by working closely with QA and product management to define acceptance criteria and testing strategies.

Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years' experience as a Project Manager , specifically within SaaS product development or software engineering.
• Proven success in managing agile software development projects and leading distributed teams.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and various project management frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).
• Excellent remote collaboration and communication skills, with a proactive and self-motivated approach.
• Experience with project management tools like Jira, Confluence, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; PMP or CSM certification is a significant advantage.
