Remote Senior RF Engineer - 5G

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize radio frequency (RF) systems and networks, particularly for 5G deployments.
• Conduct RF site surveys, drive tests, and data analysis to assess network performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex RF interference and performance issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on network planning, capacity management, and technology integration.
• Develop and maintain RF design guidelines, standards, and documentation.
• Stay abreast of emerging RF technologies and industry trends to propose innovative solutions.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in RF engineering , with a strong focus on mobile networks (LTE, 5G).
• In-depth knowledge of RF propagation , antenna theory, and wireless communication principles.
• Experience with RF planning and optimization tools (e.g., Planet, Atoll).
• Proficiency in analysing drive test data and network performance metrics.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to technical challenges.
• Must be able to work independently and effectively in a remote environment.
