Remote Senior Sound Engineer

About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a highly experienced and adaptable Senior Sound Engineer to join their fully remote team, supporting their operations with a focus on clients in the Bristol region and beyond. In this role, you will be responsible for the complete audio post-production process for a variety of media, including film, television, podcasts, and commercials. You will design, record, edit, and mix audio to the highest professional standards, ensuring clarity, impact, and seamless integration with visual elements. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the audio post-production process, including dialogue editing, sound effects design, Foley recording, and music mixing.
• Record and edit high-quality voiceovers and other audio elements, ensuring pristine sound quality.
• Mix audio for various platforms, optimizing for playback across different delivery systems and devices.
• Collaborate effectively with directors, producers, and other team members remotely to achieve creative audio objectives.
• Troubleshoot audio issues and implement solutions to ensure seamless integration of sound into final projects.
• Maintain and organize audio assets, sessions, and project files in a systematic and accessible manner.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience in sound engineering, with a strong portfolio of audio post-production work across film, TV, or other media.
• Expertise in industry-standard Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, or Ableton Live.
• Proficiency in audio editing, mixing, mastering, and sound design techniques.
• Excellent understanding of acoustics, microphone techniques, and signal flow.
• Strong remote collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to manage projects independently and meet tight deadlines.
