Remote Senior UX/UI Designer

About the Role

Our client is a rapidly growing digital product company seeking a talented Senior UX/UI Designer to join their fully remote team, based ideally within the UK for occasional collaborative sessions. You will play a critical role in shaping the user experience and visual design of our innovative digital platforms and applications. This position requires a deep understanding of user-centred design principles, a keen eye for aesthetics, and the ability to translate complex user needs into intuitive and engaging interfaces. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other designers to deliver exceptional user experiences that drive engagement and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design process from concept to launch, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity visual design.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions and iterate on solutions.
• Create intuitive, user-friendly, and aesthetically pleasing interfaces for web and mobile applications, adhering to brand guidelines.
• Develop and maintain detailed design systems , style guides, and component libraries to ensure consistency across products.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product management and engineering, throughout the development lifecycle.
• Stay abreast of the latest UX/UI trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve our design approach.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools such as Figma , Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Solid understanding of user-centred design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
• Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and synthesizing findings into actionable design improvements.
• Excellent visual design skills with a strong sense of typography, colour, and layout.
• Ability to communicate design concepts effectively and articulate design rationale to stakeholders.
