About the Role
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Remote Social Media & Community Manager to build and nurture vibrant online communities for their brands. This role is fully remote, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while making a significant impact on brand perception and customer engagement. You will be the voice of our client across various social platforms, responsible for creating engaging content, fostering meaningful interactions, and managing online reputation. The ideal candidate is passionate about building relationships and understands the nuances of different social media channels to connect with diverse audiences effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and community growth across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
- Create, curate, and schedule compelling, high-quality content (text, images, video) tailored to each platform and target audience.
- Actively monitor social media channels, responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner, fostering positive community interaction.
- Analyze social media performance metrics, providing regular reports on key engagement, reach, and sentiment data to inform strategy adjustments.
- Identify and engage with influencers and brand advocates to expand reach and build credibility.
- Manage online reputation and proactively address any customer service issues or negative feedback that arises on social media.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in social media management and community engagement, preferably in a remote setting.
- Proven ability to create engaging and shareable content across various social media formats.
- Strong understanding of social media analytics tools and reporting dashboards.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Demonstrated experience in managing online communities and fostering positive interactions.
- Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
