About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Remote Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join their global procurement function. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in the UK. You will be responsible for developing and executing sophisticated sourcing strategies for key categories, leading complex negotiations, and managing supplier relationships to ensure maximum value and mitigate risks. Your expertise in market analysis and supplier management will be crucial in driving cost efficiencies and supporting the company's growth objectives, working independently to achieve ambitious targets in a remote capacity .

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective strategic sourcing plans for critical product and service categories.
• Conduct comprehensive market intelligence and supplier landscape analysis.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing projects, including RFx development, evaluation, and supplier selection.
• Negotiate complex contracts, pricing agreements, and service level agreements (SLAs) with key global suppliers.
• Manage and develop strategic supplier relationships, fostering collaboration and driving performance improvements.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, ethical standards, and risk management frameworks in a remote setting .

Requirements

• Extensive experience (6+ years) in strategic sourcing , category management, or a similar procurement role.
• Proven track record of delivering significant cost savings and value through sourcing initiatives.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and project management skills.
• Experience with e-sourcing tools and procurement platforms.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities, adaptable to a remote work environment.
