Remote Supply Chain Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Remote Supply Chain Engineer to optimize their global logistics and distribution networks. This position focuses on improving the efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of the entire supply chain through data analysis, process redesign, and the application of advanced engineering principles. Working remotely, you will collaborate with teams across different regions to identify bottlenecks, implement innovative solutions, and ensure seamless product flow from manufacturing to end customers. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of logistics, inventory management, and supply chain technologies, coupled with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and map existing supply chain processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement strategies for optimizing inventory levels, transportation routes, and warehousing operations.
• Utilize data analytics tools to forecast demand, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and identify trends.
• Collaborate with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal teams to enhance end-to-end supply chain performance.
• Design and implement improvements in areas such as order fulfillment, network design, and supplier management.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and software solutions to enhance supply chain visibility and automation.

Requirements

• Degree in Industrial Engineering , Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain engineering or logistics management.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis and modeling tools.
• Experience with supply chain planning software and ERP systems.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles applied to supply chain operations.
• Excellent remote communication and collaboration skills.
