Key Responsibilities
- Provide remote emotional support, guidance, and crisis intervention to clients via phone, email, and video calls.
- Develop and manage individualised support plans, setting achievable goals with clients.
- Liaise with healthcare professionals, social workers, and other external agencies to coordinate holistic care.
- Facilitate access to relevant mental health resources, support groups, and therapeutic services.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in line with organisational policies and data protection regulations.
- Monitor client progress, assess risks, and implement appropriate support strategies as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in mental health support, social work, counselling, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of mental health conditions, therapeutic approaches, and safeguarding principles.
- Excellent communication and active listening skills, with the ability to build rapport remotely.
- Proficiency in using digital communication tools and case management software.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage a remote workload effectively.
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3/4 in Health & Social Care, Counselling Certificate) are highly desirable.
