About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Remote Sustainable Agriculture Consultant to advise businesses and organizations on adopting environmentally sound and economically viable farming practices. Working entirely from home, you will provide expert guidance on topics such as soil health, water management, biodiversity enhancement, and waste reduction within the agricultural sector. This role requires a deep understanding of sustainable farming principles and the ability to translate complex ecological concepts into practical, implementable strategies for clients across diverse agricultural settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of current agricultural operations to identify areas for improvement in sustainability.
• Develop tailored strategies and action plans for clients to enhance environmental performance and resource efficiency.
• Advise on best practices for organic farming, regenerative agriculture, conservation tillage, and integrated pest management.
• Assist clients in navigating environmental regulations, certifications, and reporting requirements.
• Conduct research on emerging sustainable technologies and methodologies relevant to agriculture .
• Provide training and workshops to clients and their teams on sustainable farming techniques, delivering remotely.

Requirements

• A Master's degree or PhD in Sustainable Agriculture, Environmental Science, Agronomy, or a related field.
• Extensive professional experience in agricultural consulting, with a focus on sustainability.
• In-depth knowledge of ecological principles, soil science, and resource management in farming.
• Proven ability to develop practical, evidence-based solutions for diverse agricultural challenges.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills, essential for remote work.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and guide stakeholders towards adopting sustainable practices in agriculture .
