About the Role

Our client seeks a forward-thinking Sustainable Agriculture Consultant to join their globally distributed team, working remotely across the UK. This role is dedicated to advising agricultural businesses on implementing environmentally sound and economically viable farming practices. You will analyze current operations, develop tailored sustainability strategies, and guide clients through the transition to greener methods, focusing on resource efficiency, biodiversity enhancement, and carbon footprint reduction. This is a vital role for an expert passionate about driving positive change in the agricultural sector through remote collaboration and expert consultation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of agricultural operations to identify sustainability gaps and opportunities.
• Develop customized sustainability action plans, including recommendations for soil health, water conservation, and energy efficiency.
• Advise clients on best practices for organic farming, regenerative agriculture, and other eco-friendly approaches.
• Provide guidance on obtaining sustainability certifications and meeting regulatory requirements.
• Deliver engaging training and workshops to clients and stakeholders on sustainable agriculture principles.

Requirements

• Master's degree or PhD in Sustainable Agriculture, Environmental Science, Agronomy, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in agricultural consulting with a specialization in sustainability.
• In-depth knowledge of regenerative agriculture , agroecology, and carbon farming practices.
• Experience with life cycle assessments (LCAs) and environmental impact reporting.
• Excellent remote communication, presentation, and client management skills.
