About the Role

Our client is actively seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Sustainable Agriculture Consultant to join their globally distributed team on a fully remote basis. This role focuses on advising agricultural businesses and organizations on implementing environmentally sound, economically viable, and socially responsible farming practices. You will leverage your expertise to guide clients through transitions to organic farming, regenerative agriculture, water conservation, and reduced chemical inputs. Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert consultation to clients on developing and implementing sustainable agricultural strategies.
• Assess current farming operations and identify areas for improvement in environmental performance and resource efficiency.
• Advise on organic certification processes, regenerative agriculture techniques, and biodiversity enhancement.
• Develop customized plans for reducing water usage, improving soil health, and minimizing carbon footprints.
• Stay updated on the latest research, policies, and technologies in sustainable agriculture.
• Prepare detailed reports, proposals, and presentations for clients.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Sustainable Agriculture, Environmental Science, Agronomy, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in agricultural consulting or sustainable farming practices.
• In-depth knowledge of organic farming, regenerative agriculture, permaculture, and agroecology principles.
• Strong understanding of environmental regulations and conservation efforts related to agriculture.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple client projects remotely.
