About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Assess current farming practices and identify opportunities for sustainable improvements.
• Develop tailored strategies for soil regeneration, water conservation, and biodiversity enhancement.
• Advise on the implementation of organic farming principles and integrated pest management.
• Calculate and advise on reducing the carbon footprint of agricultural operations.
• Stay abreast of policy changes, research, and best practices in sustainable agriculture.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and proposals for clients to outline sustainability initiatives.
• Provide remote guidance and support to clients in implementing recommended changes.

Requirements

• A degree in Sustainable Agriculture, Environmental Science, Agronomy, or a related field.
• Proven experience in sustainable farming practices, environmental consultancy, or agricultural advisory services.
• Strong knowledge of ecological principles, soil science, and climate-smart agriculture.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct environmental assessments.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for remote client engagement.
