About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated Remote Technical Installer to join their dedicated support team, operating entirely from a remote location. This role involves providing expert remote assistance to customers for the successful installation and configuration of our client's products. You will be instrumental in guiding users through technical setup processes, diagnosing and resolving complex installation challenges using remote tools, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent technical communication skills and a proven ability to troubleshoot effectively from a distance, contributing to client success across the UK while working from home.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver remote technical support for product installations and configurations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation-related issues using remote diagnostic tools and techniques.
• Provide clear, step-by-step guidance to customers over the phone and via digital communication channels.
• Document all customer interactions, resolutions, and technical feedback meticulously.
• Collaborate with internal technical teams to escalate and resolve complex installation problems.
• Contribute to the development of installation guides and FAQs for customer self-help.

Requirements

• Previous experience in technical support, remote assistance, or a similar installation-focused role.
• Solid understanding of software and hardware installation procedures.
• Exceptional communication and active listening skills, with the ability to convey technical information effectively.
• Proficiency in using remote desktop software, ticketing systems, and troubleshooting utilities.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work autonomously in a remote setting.
• Experience with installation and maintenance principles is advantageous.
