About the Role

Our client is looking for a strategic and detail-oriented Remote Telecoms Network Planner to join their planning and design team. Working entirely from home, you will be responsible for the long-term capacity planning, optimisation, and evolution of our client's telecommunications network. This role requires a forward-thinking individual who can analyse network traffic, forecast future demands, and design solutions to meet those needs efficiently and cost-effectively. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure our network infrastructure remains robust, scalable, and capable of supporting future technological advancements, all within a fully remote setup.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse network traffic patterns and forecast future capacity requirements.
• Develop long-term network evolution plans and roadmaps.
• Design network architectures that support new services and technologies.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure seamless deployment of planned infrastructure.
• Identify opportunities for network optimisation and cost reduction.

Requirements

• Proven experience in telecoms network planning , design, or engineering.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in network modelling tools.
• In-depth understanding of telecommunications technologies, including fibre optics, mobile networks, and IP infrastructure.
• Ability to work independently and manage projects effectively in a remote setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and stakeholder engagement.
