Remote Telecoms Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a dedicated and highly organized Remote Telecoms Project Manager to spearhead key projects from conception to completion. Working entirely remotely, you will orchestrate the planning, execution, and delivery of diverse telecommunications initiatives, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to effectively manage distributed teams and stakeholders across the UK. You will play a crucial role in driving the success of strategic projects within the rapidly evolving telecoms landscape, supporting our client's growth from a remote-first perspective.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, resources, and timelines.
• Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial objectives are met.
• Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive remote working environment.
• Effectively communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders at all levels.
• Identify and manage project risks and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
• Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven track record of managing complex projects, preferably within the telecommunications sector , with at least 5 years of project management experience.
• Professional certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects entirely remotely, utilizing collaboration tools effectively.
• Strong understanding of network deployment, infrastructure projects, and associated technologies.
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and negotiation skills, capable of managing virtual teams.
