Remote UX/UI Designer

About the Role

Our client is looking for an innovative and user-centric Remote UX/UI Designer to join their fully distributed product team. You will be responsible for designing intuitive and engaging user experiences for their digital products, from initial wireframing and prototyping to high-fidelity visual design. This role is crucial in ensuring our client's applications are not only functional but also delightful to use, fostering customer loyalty and driving product success. You will work collaboratively with product managers, developers, and other designers in a remote-first environment that emphasizes clear communication, asynchronous workflows, and a shared passion for user-centered design principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to gather insights and inform design decisions.
• Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for web and mobile applications.
• Develop intuitive and aesthetically pleasing UI designs that align with the brand's identity and enhance user engagement.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Iterate on designs based on user feedback, A/B testing results, and performance data.
• Maintain and contribute to a comprehensive design system to ensure consistency across all products.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative team environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
